Thad's ex-wife Elena Winton-Talbott just became the proud great-grandmother of twin boys.  She has three step-daughters from her second marriage to William Talbott, real estate maven, and four grandchildren.

Good News: A loyal fan has purchased the small Orange County house where Thad Whitney and his mother Iris lived when they first came to California.  She's currently seeking zoning permission to turn it into the Thad Whitney Museum.

In April 2000, the Palm City Silent Film Festival will present a Thad Whitney retrospective series including both silent and sound films starring Thad Whitney.
