I grew up in Kingwall, Nebraska and heard a rumor from a friend who
still lives there that Kingwall might sponsor a "Thad Whitney Weekend"
in July, 2000. Is this true? I think it would be fantastic.

I just watched an old Thad Whitney movie, Havana Way, last night on
AMC. I'm only 18, but I thought Thad Whitney was so fine. I
can't believe that I wasn't born earlier because I'm sure he and I would
have been together. Leonardo DiCaprio, eat your heart out!

There are things I've never read in any Thad Whitney biography - things
